Our technicians carry over 25 years of hands-on experience in the manufacture and fitment of tubes for Ribcraft rigid inflatable boats, covering tube specification, assembly methods and the practical requirements of keeping these hulls in long-term service. That experience is now applied independently through Ribcollar.
We are not the manufacturer and we make no claim of authorisation or official status. We operate as independent specialists, providing replacement tube services for Ribcraft boats in the same way that independent specialists operate throughout the automotive trade.
There is no commercial or contractual relationship between Ribcollar Inflatables Ltd and Ribcraft Limited.
Ribcollar provides the following independent services for Ribcraft rigid inflatable boats:
Full replacement of worn, damaged or end-of-life tube systems. Manufactured in Orca Hypalon to match the hull layout. Covers tube removal, hull inspection, new tube manufacture and fitment.
More on RIB retubing →Replacement tube sets manufactured to pattern for specific Ribcraft hulls. Where a pattern record is already held, manufacture can proceed directly from your hull details. Otherwise we inspect the boat and create an accurate pattern.
More on new tubes →Our team has first-hand experience of Ribcraft tube layouts and original specification standards from many years working with this class of boat. Where pattern records or confirmed hull data are available, we can manufacture a replacement collar set to match the original layout and intended fit.
More on new tubes →Repair assessment and practical repair work for Ribcraft inflatable systems where the material is still sound enough to warrant it. Covers leaks, seam repairs, valve replacement and localised damage.
More on repairs →Uncertain whether your Ribcraft needs a repair, partial replacement or full retube? We review photos and condition reports and give a straight answer on the best route forward.
Get in touch →Retube and new tube packages include rubbing strakes, wear patches, handles, lifelines, custom boat names and valve arrangements, specified to suit the intended use of the boat.
Discuss your spec →All replacement tube work for Ribcraft hulls at Ribcollar is manufactured using Orca Hypalon, the same material class used on high-specification rigid inflatable boats for professional, commercial and military applications.
Hypalon offers strong resistance to UV degradation, weathering, fuel contamination and hard operational use. For owners investing in a proper replacement, it remains the most dependable choice for tube longevity.
We specify the fabric weight and reinforcement to suit the size of the hull and how the boat is used. Higher-wear zones, including boarding areas, rubbing points and contact surfaces, are reinforced as standard where required.
Clear photos of the boat, the tube condition and a brief note on what you need is enough to get started. Ribcollar will confirm scope, provide a clear quote and advise on the best route forward.

Yes. We hold pattern records developed by our team for a number of Ribcraft hull sizes and tube configurations. Where a pattern is already on file, we can manufacture directly from your hull details.
If your boat is not already covered, we have the technology to scan existing tubes and produce an accurate template for manufacture. This aftermarket scanning service is available for Ribcraft boats and any other make of RIB, so if you need replacement tubes for a different hull, we can work from an existing set and build to match.
All replacement tube work is manufactured in Orca Hypalon. This is not a Ribcraft-branded part. We specify the fabric weight and reinforcement to suit the hull and its intended use. We do not use PVC or PU for retube work.
That depends on the condition of the existing material. Where the fabric is still structurally sound and the damage is localised, a repair is often worthwhile. Where the tube is old, the coating is worn away, the weave is exposed or multiple areas are failing, a full retube is usually the more sensible long-term investment. Send photos and we will give you a straight answer.
Yes. Much of our work involves older or heavily used Ribcraft hulls where the original tube system has reached the end of its service life. Providing the hull is sound, a retube is a practical and cost-effective way to bring the boat back into reliable service.
In some cases, yes. Contact us to discuss the hull, the tube layout required and the attachment method. We will advise on whether supply-only is a practical option for your project.
